I dunno...that sounds like a pretty sketchy at best explanation to me. As a non-compliant sex-offender he has a few other pertinent questions to answer , or maybe I am just stating the obvious.
Maybe I am just being Pollyann-ish but the whole scheme of paying people to collect signatures seems a bit disingenuous.
If this turns out to be a negative PR episode for Mr. Hardy's "clients" and their campaigns I guess they got what they paid for and shouldn't complain.
