She lived at 837 N Ainslie when she started the magazine in 1914, with her life partner, Jane Heap. There's a Chicago "Marker of Distinction" there in her honor (the only one in Uptown, and one of only three markers north of Irving Park).
I haven't seen it in person, but I assume it must be on her former residence at 837 W. Ainslie.
