Update On The Clark Streetscape Project

From Ald. Schulter's (47th) weekly email blast on July 2:

The project is moving forward.  Starting Friday, July 2, parking will be available on the west side of Clark Street, from Leland going north.  They are moving southbound and will continue all the way to Montrose.  There will be some parking restrictions on the west side of Clark St., from Leland going south to Montrose.  Please note that parking is available after 3:30pm and on the weekends.

There will be an update meeting for the businesses and residents at Chase Park on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 9:00am.

  4. It might be over long before anyone suspects. There is a new zoning change sign in the open and vacant building at 4417 N Clark. That zoning change, submitted by Ald. Gen Schulter amends the existing zoning to REMOVE the pedestrian street status for Clark between Montrose and Sunnyside. No improvements for you!
