CTA / Uptown Fireworks Schedule

The CTA has a page devoted to the the fireworks schedule on July 4th.  Click here and scroll down to the North Side details.
You can click on the map to the right for a larger version.

A few things stand out for residents:
  • Cooling buses will be available at: Foster Beach Parking Lot; Wilson/Simonds Dr. Parking Lot; and Montrose/Simonds Dr. Parking Lot
  • From 6 p.m. until approximately 11 p.m., Montrose, Wilson and Lawrence between Broadway and Outer Lake Shore Drive will be closed to eastbound traffic.

    I hope this event doesn't turn out the way the close of The Taste of Chicago did.
