So, did anyone feel the quake? We didn't, but these Uptowners did:Catherine White was sitting on a sofa reading a newspaper in her 3rd floor apartment near Montrose and Lake Shore Drive this afternoon when she felt the sofa shake. White's mother Vicki Quade, sitting about 10 feet away at a computer terminal, also felt a tremor.
Is the mother "THE" Vicki Quade? The local actress and playwright?

ReplyDeleteThe only shakin I felt is when I heard a Elvis song on the radio, whole lotta shakin going on. Obama gave a speech today and maybe those people felt a tremor run down their leg. Most likely it is when the Wilson train runs by the whole ground shakes up to 2 blocks away at times.
