Neighborhood Nights Kick Off At Goudy School

Goudy School – Neighborhood Nights also kicked-off in Uptown on Wednesday, June 9, at Winthrop and Winona, drawing a large crowd of families.  The Neighborhood Nights volunteers supplied board games, refreshments, snacks, and sidewalk chalk.  The area was alive with activity, as kids enjoyed free healthy snacks like grapes and carrots and played intense games of Chutes and Ladders and Sorry!  Parents were able to meet and mingle with their neighbors.

Neighborhood Nights will return to Winthrop and Winona every Wednesday night, 6 to 8pm through August.  Visit the event calendar at our website for more information.  TheNeighborhoodFirst.org is a team of dedicated volunteers who work with our neighbors, local business owners, elected officials, and other community partners to help organize and participate in great community-building events and activities.
