Movies In The Park Schedule Released

Center Square Journal has a list of all the Park District movie nights happening in the north region this summer.  Check it out here.  The ones in Uptown and the immediately adjacent areas are listed below; keep in mind that there are lots of parks and movies within an easy commute of us.  Admission is always free and movies start at dusk.

  3. I would like to see "Some like it hot" at cricket hill... Where exactly is that? I know it says montrose by the lake so is it at montrose beach?? Sorry if this is a dumb question, im new to the area!!!

  4. Kristen, if you go into the park at Montrose, there's a hill between Montrose and Wilson, surrounding by soccer fields.

    A reader created a map of all the movie sites in the Chicago area and gave it an address of "600 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago, IL" - If you do Google Streetview of that address, you can see a slight hill just north of Montrose and east of Lake Shore Drive. That's Cricket Hill.
