Contest: Photograph A Neighborhood Landmark

A reader thought Uptown was ripe for the pickin' for a photo contest Gaper's Block is holding: You're invited to "take a photo and write one or two paragraphs about a "personal landmark" in your neighborhood -- not necessarily something huge and obvious, like the Bean, but something that helps guide you or your friends through your neighborhood -- like the weird Mr. Potatohead sculpture shown here." Winners get to fly a friend into Chicago for the weekend on Southwest. The deadline is Friday, May 21.
