Dog-Napped!

This happened outside of Uptown, but Lorraine Swanson of Lake Effect News shamelessly flattered UU's record of reuniting lost animals with their owners, and suggested we post this:

"What Kind Of An Animal Steals A Dog In A Home Invasion?  Tucker, a cocker spaniel-poodle mix, was taken from his home near the Brown Line Addison stop sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, April 19."  Tucker weighs about 20 lbs., is black with a white soul patch under his chin, and was wearing a Cubs collar when he was heisted.  Read LEN for more information, including the reward.

  1. thieves make a lot of money off of small dogs like this. they sell them to people who run pit bull fighting rings. these little dogs are thrown in with a killer pit bull to keep the pit's instincts sharp.

    which reminds me...

don't leave your pet unattended at any time. i see people tie their dog to a pole and run into the shop for coffee.

    not a good move.
