Attack Now A Murder

Last week's stabbing just took a turn for the worse.  "A man who was stabbed March 31 in the Uptown neighborhood by another man who lives in the same building died Thursday afternoon."  Read about it in the Sun-Times.  Our condolences to the friends and family of Joshua Spencer.

  1. "Riggs reportedly has a history of mental illness and a police record for a stabbing as recently as December."

Nice. And this is our neighbor.

  2. Why did Mercy housing have a tenant(s) they clearly are qualified to house? This is the same organization Hellon gave $3M+ of TIF $$.
Speaking of TIF $, Sneed reports the states attorney is after a lawyer for bilking the city of millions of $$ of TIF $$. Surely nothing to do with the 46th ward!!

  3. When I read this it brought me back to the day I was attacked in the alley at Leland and Beacon. I'm sorry for the lost life and still don't know how I didn't die.

  4. He was the same guy who did the stabbing at walgreens in december. This is really tragic. Any word on what charges he is facing.
