More On The "Incumbent Alderman Protection Act"

Ben Joravsky of the Reader is at it again.  Read his take on proposed state legislation that would make it more difficult to unseat an incumbent Chicago alderman:

  3. I would think that Mary Ann Smith wrote the bill, but then I am not sure that she knows how. The only legislation she has ever produced was written by PETA. But even if she didn't write it, she lived it.
    Setting an example for all the other incumbents.
