A reader sends in the following photo and writes:"My wife noticed this flyer outside our building from Fame da Lupo Pizza and I thought I'd send it in to you all. Sounds like a good deal. Not sure what is included, whether it's pizza or pasta, but $9.95 all you can eat is a great price and valid till April 1. I've had pizza from this place and it was great and the owner is really friendly. I don't think they get a lot of foot traffic on Leland so they really need some word of mouth now. I hope your readers will give them a try either dining in or doing delivery. We need to support our local eateries."

ReplyDeleteThey dont exist on Yelp. Someone who's been there should start a yelp page for them, if they deserve the help. Yelp drives traffic. I havent eaten there myself, but would be interested in what the masses think.

Madden - Those reviews you see on yelp are often manipulated by yelp. Businesses who pay yelp are able to move bad review to the bottom and select good reviews for the top. Those who don't pay often find that their good reviews disappear. Unfortunately, sometimes small businesses can't afford the shake-down (what they call advertising fees) and have mainly negative reviews highlighted.
ReplyDeleteI just had their pizza (hooray for take out on the way home from the train!) and it was really, REALY good. I watched the owner work the dough over cornmeal crumbs and the crust came out very crispy to the teeth but still nicely chewy at the same time. Good food to be snowed in with!

ReplyDeleteI saw that special that they are having now and I ddecided to give it a try. Basically it's what you see. All you can eat for 10 bucks from their menu. As long as you don't leave any leftovers. They said they don't get too much foot traffic right now around there so they are trying to get some people to dine in.
Dine in area is nice, service is good and food is great. I'll be deffinately reordering. Check them out. Oh and try their kariola pizza. Yummy!
