Ah, yes, another political action committee soon to be in the hip pocket of Ms. Shiller. Because she has been so, so, so successful in bringing business into the Broadway corridor from Montrose to Lawrence she is now tackling Sheridan Road in someone elses ward. Ms. Smith may want to take a gander at Ms. Shillers current handiwork before signing on to anything she brings to the table. Does Edgewater and this portion of Uptown really need a large slum built, a fish farm, and maybe, just maybe a big box store (if the rumor is true).
ReplyDeleteI mean, Helen doesn't work with the block clubs or business development group in her own ward, why would she in another ward? C'mon people, pay attention here.
But this is being sent out by Mary Ann Smith's office. Most of the stretch of Sheridan is in Mary Ann Smith's ward. I'm sure mentioning Helen's name is just a courtesy, since her ward just barely touches that area (where she wanted to put Labor Ready). Dollars to donuts no one from the 46th Ward office will be there.

Certainly this is a chance for us to do what we always do - progress without Helen, who is only an impediment to positive change.
