Looking to dress your puppy up in costume and not get a lot of strange looks? Well, this Saturday is your first opportunity of the season in Uptown!It's Puptown's annual "Howl-O-Ween" dog costume contest. There will also be a silent auction and raffle for great prizes and donations from local Uptown businesses.
Puptown is a non-profit volunteer maintained, dog friendly area in Margate Park (near the intersection of Lawrence Ave and Marine Drive). EQUAL TIME FOR CATS!!! As I recall they figure pretty prominently in Halloween iconography...especially the black ones.
ReplyDeleteGayle, if you can get your cat to dress up in a costume and parade itself in front of 200 or so people and animals at a park, my hat is off to you! My cat won't even tolerate a collar.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun event. Even if you don't have a dog it's great to watch, not to mention some of the bargains you can get through the raffle and silent auction. Bring the kids!
