Beware of traffic tie-ups and no-parking zones tomorrow morning from 9:30 'til noon along Sheridan, from Kenmore and Sunnyside to Foster and the lake. 
A reader writes:
There is a Nigerian Independence Day Parade this Saturday in Uptown. Alderman Shiller’s web site shows a map, described as being a map “from the Office of Emergency Management and Communication which includes all the locations of the Traffic Control Aides for the route.”
Like many of Alderman Shiller’s ramblings, I have no idea what this means exactly, but the parade sounds like fun.
