Presto Change-O!

We spotted this brand spankin' new Challenger Park sign near the Montrose entrance. We wonder if you remove the sign that lists all of the promises made to Uptown residents, was it ever really promised? Only in Uptown.

  1. They should change the name to ChallengeHER park.

As in, who's going to challenge her (Shiller) in the next election?

Or they could change it to mentally challenged park, since the people in charge of this project seem to have issues.

    *rolleyes*

  3. Look past the broken promises for a moment and consider the people for whom the park was named.

Not a terribly fitting tribute to people who sacrificed their lives for this country.

This is a source of shame for the entire city.

  4. OMG you are right,yo. Is that how far back this empty promise deal goes? If so, I hadn't realized.

  5. The promises don't go back to '86, no.

Doesn't make the lack of sincerity any less obvious.

Christa McAuliffe was a teacher, after all.
