Another year has passed and the Wilson Area Merchants Association is preparing for its 3rd annual "Experience Uptown Walkfest." This year you will be able to take full advantage of the bracelets because the event will run for four days starting Thursday, September 10th through Sunday, September 13th 2009. The discounts this year equal last years and some discounts are even greater! For example: Dib, Demera, Crew, and Wild Pug are all offering 20% off purchases with the bracelet.All participating merchants will have their information printed on postcards with the discounts they are offering as well as the days they will be participating in the event (some may be closed or have prior commitments on certain days). These postcards should be available in about 4 weeks.
We are now pre-selling bracelets at Unique So Chique located at 4600 N. Magnolia Ave Suite C, or at Soggy Paws located at 1148 W. Leland Ave. The bracelets cost $10 each or buy 3 and get one free. As a not-for-profit, WAMA is excited to be giving back to our community throughout the upcoming months and much longer. We will be providing additional holiday decorations this 2009 season as well as making community improvements through our beautification team.
