Neighborhood Anti-Crime March April 25th

From Ald. Gene Schulter's latest email blast: "April 25, 9pm, 20th Police District's Anti-Crime March. Participants should meet at the corner of Lawrence & Sheridan at 9pm."

We give props to Ald. Shiller for finally sending out weekly email bulletins. It's a step in the right direction. But it would be nice to include CAPS meetings and hear about Uptown's police programs and anti-crime marches there instead of from neighboring aldermen.

We also give props to the 20th District police for starting their walk at one of the most dangerous and crime-ridden street corners in the 46th Ward. A very good choice! (Maybe they'll announce what's going on with the long-promised, long-awaited crime camera that night? One can hope.)

  1. What I wouldn't give to have a part-time job that pays me 6 figures, gives me 100% retirement funding, allows me to miss monthly meetings, not voice my opinion on high pressure issues, hide from my bosses when the sh*t hits the fan, spend the company's money however I'd like and then pass my responsibilities off to my co-workers and people in other departments.

    That would be sweet.
