Maryville Parking Now "Open?"

A reader writes:
"Dozens of cars are parked in the Columbus / Maryville lot on the SW corner of Agatite and Clarendon (accessed from Montrose) .....but ours got towed!! Anyone know what the deal is on this newly 'open' lot?"

  1. The new parking in the Columbus/Maryville parking lot (Montrose entrance) is for residents of 4343 N. Clarendon. We are getting our parking garage renovated and needed a place for our cars for three months.

You have to have a permit to park there and a city sticker. If you don't you will be towed.

People who park in the other Columbus/Maryville parking lot ( Agatite entrance) will also be towed if they park in the new lot.

DO NOT PARK THERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A PERMIT AND LIVE IN 4343 N. Clarendon.

  2. Uh oh... I was in the "other Maryville lot" (bordered by Agatite, Clarendon, and Sunnyside) this afternoon and the tow truck driver specifically stopped me to tell me that the "new lot" (for 4343 N clarendon residents only?) is the "overflow lot" for the Agatite-Clarendon-Sunnyside lot, "so you should go ahead and park there when this lot gets full". Glad I didn't spread that info to fellow parkers-
