Free Shots For Infants & Kids

The CareVan is a mobile health program and joint venture of the CDPH and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, whose mission is to bring free immunization services to infants and children up to six years of age. On Wednesday, March 25, between 9am-3pm, it will be at Ald. Shiller's office (4554 N Broadway).

  1. I'm delighted that children are getting needed immunizations. I'm just wondering if this discourages parents from linking up with their child's pediatrician who keeps track of all their medical records? Since this service is geared toward families on Medicaid, it's not like money would be an issue.
