Support "Hustle Up The Hancock"

CPD Officer Michael Carroll, the Facilitator for CAPS Beats 2323 and 2324 and a resident of the 46th Ward, is participating in "Hustle Up the Hancock: Chicago's World Class Stair Climb" on February 22nd. Donations support the mission of Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago.

"Additionally, I will be making the climb in my full Chicago Police uniform in honor of Chicago Police Officers killed in the line of duty and the police in New York City who were killed along side the firefighters of New York City as they climbed to the top of the World Trade Center buildings on September 11th, 2001. I am climbing with members of the Chicago Fire Department who will also be climbing in honor of their fallen brethren. Click on the link below to visit my fundraising page and help me reach my personal goal by making an online donation today. http://my.imisfriendraising.com/personalPage.aspx?SID=30502

Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated. Michael gives his time to the community by being a CAPS volunteer (in addition to his police duties), so it would be great if we could support him.

  1. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated! I'm still training hard to make sure that I get to the top ahead of the firefighters! Thankfully, its a friendly competition among our team - but as the only cop (and representing Uptown) I feel as if I owe it to everyone to get up there as quick as my legs will move me!

Thanks again to everyone who has donated!
