Mr. President!

A reader sent in this photo: "If you squint, you might be able to make out Marine One flying over Uptown."

Update: "With their commute near the end of the morning rush, the Obama family took Marine One to the airport, landing at 9:46 a.m. [...] When the Obamas arrived Friday evening, they took a 15-minute chopper ride past Chicago's skyline to the South Side's Daniel Burnham Park, before a quick motorcade to their Kenwood neighborhood home. Today, they reversed the commute." (Chicago Tribune)

  4. Your right, Im not happy. I had to sit in traffic. My helicopter was in the shop.

I didn't get to see this. Does anyone have video of Pirate running after it like a little school girl with tears in his eye yelling "Change" while trying to get his copy of the biggest spending bill in history signed? Anyone? Stimulus anyone? Pirate?

  5. CowChipper,

actually I'm more like a girl at a Beatles concert than anything else when I think of our President.

He's as dreamy as Paul and as enlightened as John.

If only as he were as sexy as that GOP minx Sarah Palin.

and now for something completely different.........

  6. I'm sad he didn't think to launch a missile or two at the wilson yard site during his fly-over. We should commission our local taggers to paint a big bulls eye on it next time the President is in town!

Imagine that! Someone at Uptown Update now thinks taggers are cool and useful. Don't call 311!

My argument is that if you put someone's creative strengths to work for the community, they will be less likely to indulge in illegal activity.
