A reader clued us in to this bucolic scene from yesteryear. Who knew that the area of Sheridan just north of Wilson ever looked like this? The scene seems to show what was there prior to Uptown's previous gentrification, around 100 years ago, when the first retail buildings
started to appear at that corner.
