  1. Excellent news. With the combo of this and Fontana Grill, some nice new options in the Sheridan Park area.

Anyone know the details on the BBQ joint just north of St. Boniface Cemetary?

  2. That's great news! I was disappointed in the pizza selection at Fontana, this looks better already!

  3. We called Monticchio this evening and their pizza oven is not working, so I guess we'll have to wait until that gets fixed!

  4. Hello Everybody:

We were having some issues with our pizza operation, but we are happy to report that we are now serving our traditional hand stretched pizzas, as well as our antipasti, including homemade Arincini (risotto rice stuffed with peas and mozzeralla, deeped fried and served with marinara), our sandwhiches indluding a great meatball sandwich with provolone cheese and marinara sauce and our deserts (try the homemade torta di banana, a homemmade dense banana cake served with fudge frosting.

We are the first restaurant in the area so we hope that you will stop by and tell all of your friends. In fact, if you mention this posting during the month of November, 2008 we will give you a 20% discount on your entree. During the week, after 9pm stop by and we will be providing free food samples at the bar.

We are open Sun, Mon-Thur from 5 to 12 midnight (food service ends at 10:30) and on Fri and Sat 5pm to 1am (food service ends at 11:30 pm)

I hope you don't mind our shameless promotion. :)

    "See you Soon"

  6. I have visited Monticchio twice now. It's a great addition to the neighborhood! We've tried the Italian style pizza, the meatball sub, the pesto chicken panini and a salad. Everything has been very tasty, and they have a great drink selection. Check it out!
