I Saw The Sign (Not)

Gosh, it's now October 6, and there is STILL no "Public Notice" zoning sign anywhere to be seen on the McJunkin Building at Broadway and Wilson. The last we heard, the zoning change was to be filed on September 22, and a zoning sign is to be posted within 5 days of that. Has the deal fallen through? What the heck is going on? And is the city even paying attention to this?

... the applicant must post a notice sign on the subject property in accordance with the following requirements:
1. The notice sign must be installed within 5 days of application filing and remain in place until the date of the hearing...
3. The sign must be posted in such a way as to be plainly visible from each roadway or right- of-way abutting the property.
4. The [posted] notice must include:
(b) a description of the nature, scope and purpose of the application or proposal;

  1. The City Council meets this week, so we should expect to hear something next week regarding the date and time for the Zoning Committee meeting. Keep your eyes peeled for a Notice on the building next week.

    no one in the City Dept. of Zoning or on the staff of the City Council's Committee on Zoning is even vaguely concerned with monitoring compliance with the notification requirements
