Wild Pug says the city has issued a certificate of occupancy for its place of business. Now it's Zoning's turn. As soon as Zoning gives thumbs-up, then Wild Pug will pay for a liquor license. There is a minimum of 45 days between payment and the issuing of the license.
"This has been quite a drawn out process that we never anticipated. Expect one heck of an opening when it is all said and done!"

Yep, it's hard to open a business when you don't have the $$$.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until all the limited partners/investors get pissed at the same time and try to run the place.
I'd say they did pretty well with Crew. If that's any indication, it's probably a pretty sound investment. Better than my 401K anyway.
ReplyDeleteCrew is awesome. I have no doubts Wild Pub will be the same.
ReplyDeleter! Our nay-sayer. Our nabob of negativity.
ReplyDeleteTo the puge!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait!
Just stating the facts that the financial model behind the Pug is not that solid and they are still soliciting investors.
ReplyDeleteHow can you promise a return on an investment when you haven't even opened your doors for business. What if you don't have the money to pay back the investors?
I consult to many establishments and the bar business is down across the city.
But yes it is a welcome establishment and I hope it does make it. I just hope the method of finaning doesn't become an issues as I have seen this happen in the past when there are too many minority investors.
Also they will be pulling business from their current established business.
