  1. Just get the darn things (L and LSD) fixed before the World Series, OK?

  2. What about the Wilson stop which is the worst of the entire city according to the Redeye!? Any plans to renovate?

  3. Uptown Mom, they have already started on the Wilson stop too.

I was grateful that they finally replaced the roof and lighting over Lawrence. It was incredibly bad. Not only was it rusted out and full of holes, when it rained, water literally POURED out of the light fixtures above your head, and ran down the stairs... it was incredibly dangerous and scary. It was like that for YEARS before they finally fixed it.

They are doing repairs to both Wilson and Lawrence, which is great. I imagine Argyle isn't too far behind because that station is also in desperate need of help... and a thorough cleaning. Too many homeless use it as a public toilet, and it is pretty harsh!

  4. Thanks for this post, I would have been really miffed when I attempted to get on the red line at Argyle tomorrow to go watch my game and found it closed and then had to backtrack over to Lawrence. There was nothing in the Tribune about these closings so I would have not known if not for UU. Thanks!
