Back-To-School Health & Resource Fair This Weekend

23rd District CAPS, Uptown Ministry and Uptown Baptist Church are sponsoring a health fair this weekend. Free health and nutrition seminars on Saturday and free vaccinations for schoolkids on Sunday. If you have neighbors with kids who'll be returning to school, please let them know about this valuable resource. Click on the flyer for important details, including proof of residence requirements in order to receive free vaccines.

  1. Hi! Is there any way we can get a printable version of that flyer (PDF perhaps)? I would like to put one up in my building.
    Thanks!

  2. There's a block party tomorrow on Malden, between Lawrence and Leland. I think it's like 10 a.m. to 4 or something like that.

  4. There is a Magnolia/Malden Block party this weekend? This is the first I have heard of it.

I am sure whomever created the website for Magnolia Malden Neighbors had great intentions, unfortunately there is 0 information regarding block club events :(

  5. Mercy Housing (the former Lakefront SRO) is doing their own block party rather than partnering with the larger community. I don't know if they are blocking off the street, but i did find a flier stuffed in a fence.

4700 block of Malden, 10 AM to 2 PM.

No drugs, no alcohol, and no being under the influence!
