Saturday, July 19
North Uptown Neighbors Association's (NUNA) 4th Annual Block Party
On the 4900 block of Magnolia, 2-7pm. There will be food, drinks, music, arts and crafts, games, and kids' activities, including the Jumping Jack and a fire truck visit. Many local businesses, including Uptown chamber members, have donated great raffle prizes.

Sunday, July 20
House of Prayer Picnic
House of Prayer invites everyone, especially their neighbors from Truman Square and Clarendon Park block clubs, to participate in their picnic they at Foster Beach. Details are available from Pastor Bradley at (773) 275-0245. House of Prayer is located at 4631 Broadway.

Thursday, July 24th
Clarendon Park's Dog Park Fundraiser
@ the Driftwood on Montrose, 6-9pm. Suggested Donation is $15. There'll be drink specials, prizes, food and fun!

Thursday, August 7
Concert in Buena Circle Park
Kenmore/Buena, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The Thomas Pace Band will perform, and Dr. Looney the Clown will make balloon animals for the children. The concert is free, but neighbors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item(s) as part of a food drive to benefit St. Mary of the Lake's food pantry.

Saturday, August 9th
Clarendon Park Block Party
Noon - 10pm. Suggested donation is $5, kids under 12 free. There'll be four bands, volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, bags, burgers, hot dogs, beer and soda, and lots of activities for the kids.

Saturday, August 16 (rain date Sunday, August 17 - some will participate both days)
Sheridan Park Yard Sale
9am-3pm, Montrose to Lawrence, Broadway to Clark. It's that time again! Clean out your clutter and make some cash! Anyone in Sheridan Park can sell - but you have to be registered. We'll keep a Master List which we'll file with Streets and Sanitation 3 days before the sale. Saturday, August 16th and Sunday August 17th
The Raven Festival @ Chase Park
Saturday, Noon - 10pm / Sunday, Noon - 8pm. Proceeds will go towards funding the new playground. Come on by and enjoy two full days and nights of live entertainment (two stages!), food from local restaurants and merchandise from Chicagoland vendors. There'll also be lots of activities for the kids.
