
The Tribune says: "Northbound train service along the CTA Red Line was shut down Tuesday afternoon between the Wilson and Thorndale Stations after firefighters had to pull a person off the tracks, officials said."

UPDATE: "Northbound train service on the CTA Red Line was temporarily shut down Tuesday afternoon for more than a mile after a train hit someone on the tracks, officials said. The person's condition was unknown, and it's unclear how that person ended up on the tracks. The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. on the northbound tracks at Wilson Avenue and Broadway, said Catherine Hosinski, a CTA spokeswoman. Service along the northbound Red Line was shut down between the Wilson and Thorndale stations, but has since resumed, she said."

Correction : Man fell off tracks, could not get up due to injuries, operations were temporarily stopped til the paramedics arrived and brought him to the hospital. What a relief!
