A reader just sent in this pic from the BP at Lawrence and Clarendon. Gas for $1.47 a gallon? We have a feeling the folks at BP have rectified this situation by now.
Hilarious. That station is renowned for being one of the most expensive in the City. We call it the stop n rob and then pass it by as we head elsewhere to purchase gas!
I have a photo of the gas station covered in police caution tape from when the gangbanger was shot dead at their pumps. That happened in the past 3 years.
I'm pretty sure the station has new owners, and I've noticed they've made a real effort to make it safer. I never used to go there, but I do now (but only if I'm on "E" -- too expensive!)
