Your tax dollars at work, folks:Tony Rezko and "Rezmar Corp" had 2 Uptown low-income projects that went into foreclosure. These appear to be the only 2 projects on the northside, and curiously enough, in Uptown.

I cant imagine how anyone would want a Chicago Politician, especially one with ties to Rezko, to be president.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to imagine it, because it's a reality. And really, if everything about Obama's ties to Rezko are already out there, it's not that bad. Especially when you compare to McCain and Clinton (the latter of whom I support). Face it, ambitious politicians invariably walk through some mud on their way up to the top, and the vast majority, including plenty of great leaders, end up playing in it just a little bit. Unfortunate fact of life.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe I'm wrong about this, but get the sense that lots on this board view Obama and Shiller as kindred spirits. C'mon, Shiller's a HACK who has demonstrated pure disdain for any and all outside of her power base. Obama has not shown himself to be that kind of politician.
So remember, just because it seems like all of Shiller's supporters are Obamaniacs, that doesn't mean that all Obama supporters have love for Shiller.
Correct 10:44. Obama is a thoughtful statesman. What I like about him most is that he knows enough to know when he doesn't know enough. Shiller's hubris---if it were a truck---would squash you flat. She's nothing more than a hack, a phony and the kind of machine-politician she couldn't stand back she was the little guy gettin' smacked down.
