The last time we visited the Riviera Building at Lawrence and Broadway it was in disarray, but a good disarray. Today we noticed that much of the building has been repaired and it looks like bricks will soon be added back to the facade. Workers were hard at work today throwing debris out of the windows. At this rate, we should be seeing windows installed soon.
Across the street, the Uptown Broadway Building has been seeing a lot of action too. Most of the sidewalk in front of the building has been removed, revealing the large basement space below. We're sure that this part of the building has not seen the light of day in a long, long time.
