Clark & Wilson Development Gets Cut Back In Size

Revised design for 4537 N. Clark (Longford)
A redesigned plan for 4537 N. Clark will be voted on at the next Dover Street Neighbors Association meeting on June 7 at 7PM at 4542 N. Dover.

After receiving feedback on the first proposal, the developer and architects revised the size of the building and the design, to fit in more with the existing Clark streetscape. The overall height of the building has been reduced by 11 feet. The total number of units in the development will drop from 24 to 18.
Neighbors along Dover Street were concerned about the shadows that would be cast upon their backyards. A shadow study was conducted, which came to the likely conclusion that the building would cast shadows on the properties behind it, resulting in an approximate 2 hour reduction of sunshine.

Residents who own property in the Dover Street Landmark District as well as those who live in the 4400 block of Dover will be allowed to each have one vote at the meeting. For more information please contact DSNA at SecretaryDSNA@gmail.com
