CAF Graceland Cemetery Tour On Sunday

Chicago Architecture Foundation is conducting a walking tour of Graceland Cemetery and Arboretum on Sunday at 1:30pm.  Buy tickets here, or just show up.

"Beautiful and serene, Graceland Cemetery is a treasured oasis in the center of our bustling city. Notables interred here are Chicago's movers and shakers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries: Daniel Burnham, Potter Palmer, Charles Wacker, George Pullman and many others. Their monuments were designed by the famous sculptors of the era: Daniel Chester French, Lorado Taft and architect Louis Sullivan. For two hours we stroll the winding paths, admire the scenery and recount fascinating stories of our famed, and not so famed, cemetery residents.
