4600 Block of Broadway Closed To Vehicular Traffic This Weekend

It won't be just the southbound lanes of Broadway that are closed to vehicles between Leland and Wilson this weekend, it will be the whole street.  There will be sidewalk access. Please remember to support our local businesses on the 4600 block of Broadway during this closure.  Iyanze, Gigio's, Uptown Bikes, Dalia Food Mart, Thai Uptown, Elim Wigs, the clothes places, the hair places... they need customers to stay in business, even when the street is blocked off.

Take a good look:  With any luck, this will be the last we'll see of this dark heavy overpass:
