Got An Opinion On Raising The Minimum Wage?

Mayor Emanuel recently appointed a task force to research how to raise Chicago's minimum wage. One of the members of the task force is Ald. Ameya Pawar.  The committee is currently gathering public input on the subject, both online and during public meetings.

There will be a total of five public meetings around Chicago in June. One of them will be held in Uptown:

• Thursday, June 19th, Truman College (1145 W Wilson), 7-9pm.
