The Cousins Will Reopen On Thursday

A few weeks ago, we were dismayed when the manager of The Cousins Restaurant asked us to announce on UU's Facebook page that the restaurant was closing temporarily. We feared the worst.

But -- good news!  Tomorrow they will be reopening.  Same owners, a slightly modified interior, and new business hours.

If you're craving a Leland Chicken sandwich or a bowl of hot soup, stop on by.  The Cousins is located at 1463 North Leland, half a block east of Clark.

The new hours are 9 to 6 on weekdays (closed Tuesdays), and 7 to 5 on Saturday and Sunday.

    The news I've been waiting to hear! Disappointed about the scaled-back hours, since we did Cousins takeout for dinner 1-2 times a week, but that just means we'll have to move up dinner time.
