Ald. Cappleman's latest newsletter has a lot of good information, including an end-of-2013 review of the 46th Ward. What caught our eyes was this:
The 4700 block of N. Broadway will be hopping, starting with Kiss Kiss Cabaret coming into the Uptown Broadway Building at 4703-15 N. Broadway in late spring. They will feature burlesque, comedy, magic, music, juggling and more! You can also expect to hear more news about other major developments coming our way on that block.We assume these (now weekly) performances will take place in all or part of the 7200 sq. ft. lower level of the building, which has been looking for a great tenant for a long time.

I had to look that up as the reference in the headline completely eluded me. Old age is upon me. The end is metaphorically nigh!
I'm all for almost any businesses moving to Uptown. It's unlikely I will ever attend this cabaret of kissing, but I hope they do well.
