Field Days

Since late last fall, several readers have asked about the work going on in the soccer fields just north of Cricket Hill in the park (between Montrose and Wilson).  "Recently we have noticed some pretty serious construction work going on over by Cricket Hill.  Any idea what they are working on?  It looks a little to serious for just a simple re-leveling, but if that is what it is, I know it is much needed and will make a lot of soccer players happy."

Anyone know?  Are they literally leveling the playing field, or is something more extensive?

Update:  A Facebook reader says, "It is going to be a paved track around the soccer field."
