Michelin Guide Rewards Two Uptown Restaurants

Congratulations to Ceres' Table [4882 N Clark], which has retained its Bib Gourmand rating for the fourth consecutive year; and to Hopleaf [5148 N Clark], which received the rating for the third time in the past four years.

Michelin Guide awarded only 59 restaurants in Chicago with the Bib Gourmand, which denotes that its inspectors found them to be "good cuisine at a reasonable price" (two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for $40 or less).

You can check out all the restaurants on Michelin's website.  There are several in nearby Andersonville, Ravenswood, and Lakeview; the Chicago neighborhood with the most Bib Gourmand restaurants is the South Loop.
