Rumors About Chateau Swirl

Interesting gossip. Services at the Hotel Chateau have actually gotten worse lately. Why is this -- perhaps -- good news? Because there are rumors a-swirling that a new mystery buyer is in the process of acquiring the place, so famed slumlord Jack Gore isn't even putting on a facade of caring about the tenants anymore.

(And, for the record, charging people to live with addicts, prostitutes, bed bugs, roaches, vermin, and unsafe conditions that make the place a true firetrap isn't magnanimous.  It's poverty pimping. Jack Gore is no Mother Theresa, no matter how much he protests that he's just there to help those who can't afford mansions in Florida, as he can.  He's sure not using the money collects in rent to put anything back into his buildings, that's for sure.)
