Ring In The Year 4710 On Argyle Street

Broken your New Year's resolutions already?  You can take a mulligan beginning on January 23, when the Chinese Year of the Dragon begins.

See the floats, the marching band, the dancing dragons, and the firecrackers on Argyle Street on Saturday, January 28th, beginning at 1pm.  The parade generally starts on Argyle at the el stop, heads east on Argyle, turns right on Sheridan, makes another right onto  Lawrence, then another right onto Broadway, and ends up back on Argyle.

While you're there, have lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area.  We all know the popular ones (Ba Le, Sun Wah, Tank Noodle, Pho 777), but if they're too crowded, take a stroll further east on Argyle and try some of the lesser-known eateries (we like Masala and Seafood Garden).  Of course, no visit is complete without a visit to La Patisserie P.

Gung Hay Fat Choy!
