Got Books?

From a reader who posted on our Facebook page:

If anyone knows of someone that wants to donate used children's books at any grade level, Brennemann Elementary school (4251 N Clarendon) would love to have them. They are trying to stress literacy with the children in the school by making sure each child at the school has a "home library." This is a good cause that assists the school in raising their test schools and educational level of the students attending!

You can contact the school principal directly to find out the best way to get your books to the school.

  1. I have about 20 kids books I would like to contribute. I just called the school to find out the best way to get these to them; they told me to drop them off during school hours in their main office.

For anyone else interested in donating books, Brenneman can be reached at (773) 534-5766, and are located at 4251 N Clarendon Ave.
