The sinkhole on the 4600 block of Winthrop that's been
filled and sunk, and
filled and sunk, over the past few years is getting yet another fix. Apparently it needed more than a band-aid, since half the street has been dug up and it looks like those are large water pipes being installed. Here's hoping for something that'll last more than a couple months.
How funny - I just took a pic of that construction equipment this weekend. I actually found the graffiti amusing for a change - "U R Beautiful." That's the first self-affirmation I've ever received through graffiti! :)
