We had heard about an apartment finding agency leasing the southern-most retail space in the Uptown Broadway Building at Broadway and Leland and now it's official.
According to their website, "Apartment Vigilantes" currently has an office at 4520 N. Clarendon but will soon be making the beloved UBB their home. No word on when they plan to open, but we welcome them to the neighborhood nonetheless.
seems like such a nice little spot they're getting. too bad i'll never need their service. i was hoping the tenant was going to be a coffee or ice cream shop.

Maybe some day they'll get a brokerage license in their name too - no record yet in the State database.

ReplyDeleteExactly right about Becovic Management being 'Scumlords'. Spent over a decade in that building. They will screw you anyway they can. Building is a fire hazard too.

Yeah, in regard to living at 4520, I hate moving and I liked the location close to the lakefront bike trail. I also tend to put up with a lot of crap. Glad to be gone.
