Our famous snowy owl, part of a huge influx of snowy owls who are hanging around the Midwest this winter. Here is WTTW's show segment featuring them, including video and photos by Jerry Goldner, who has provided Uptown Update with nature photos over the years. See the Montrose Harbor owl in his (her?) glory.
