Siam Noodle & Rice Has Opened At Its New Location

For nearly 30 years, Siam Noodle & Rice operated at 4654 North Sheridan, gaining a reputation as a friendly, authentic, family-owned restaurant that endured through Uptown's many changes.

Due to the possible upcoming sale of the building they have called home for all those years, Siam Noodle recently moved to Buena Park, setting up in the strip mall at 4142 North Broadway, between Gordon Terrace and Buena. They took over the former Thai Aroma spot.

They reopened on August 1st. After giving them a week to get settled in, we wanted to check out their new digs.

We're happy to say that everything we loved about Siam Noodle made the move with them (even the giant fish tank, and we don't even want to imagine how fun that must have been to transport!) The food is delicious (and spicy), and the same hospitable owners and waitstaff provide the same friendly atmosphere. The new space is light and spacious.

For those who miss them at their old location, the great news is that they still do delivery, and all of Uptown is included! Give them a call at 773-769-6694 or check out their website and menu here.

We know that Buena Park has been wanting to attract new restaurants to its community. We're glad Siam Noodle & Rice has remained in Uptown, and we are told that the Buena Park Neighbors business committee will assist them in whatever way they can.

A word of warning: there is free parking in the strip mall lot for customers, but it is monitored. Don't step away from the mall or there's a very good chance your vehicle will be towed.

Bon appétit!
