Man Grazed By Bullet At Foster Beach

Megan Crepeau of the Tribune posted this photo on Twitter, with the caption:
"It's so dark police are using bike lights to light the scene as they wait for e-tech"

Shortly before 9pm Friday, there were shots fired at Foster Beach (near Simonds Drive). A 24-year-old man was grazed by bullets and is in good condition. (Earlier reports said he was critically injured, but those reports were erroneous.)

There are no details at the moment about the shooting and what may have precipitated it. We don't know if the victim was a local, or a visitor spending a warm night at the lakefront. We don't know if the incident was gang-involved. More details if they become available.
