Final Push For School Supplies For 46th Ward Students

Friends of the 46th Ward Schools asked us to thank everyone who's donated already to the school supply drive for Fall 2015. They will be distributing what is collected next week to the public schools located in the 46th Ward.

If you'd still like to to donate, they are still accepting! While everything on the list is still welcome and very much appreciated, believe it or not (and this is shocking to us), what they have a particular need for is toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizer. Un-freaking-real.

If you'd like to donate to the school supply drive, which will benefit both students (who need the supplies) and teachers (who won't have to dig into their own pockets to buy their students supplies), you can do it via Amazon, via Paypal, or by dropping items off at Ald. Cappleman's office (open until 7pm on Monday, at 4544 N Broadway) or the Buena Park Library (929 W Buena).
